One month passed with no word from Jinxx. Lee was living a life of misery at Jayy’s house. She missed Jinxx, and was tempted to walk back to her house to talk to Jinxx.
“Jayy!” Lee called after her brother one day. She was going to ask Jayy and Jeffree to watch Lilith while Lee was going to go back to her house to talk to Jinxx.
After Jayy agreed to watch Lilith, Lee set off to go talk to her husband.
Finally arriving back home, Lee knocked on the door, hoping Jinxx would answer. A few minutes later, Jinxx slowly opened the door.
“Welcome back,” Jinxx said coldly, opening the door for Lee.
“Sounds like you didn’t miss me. Funny, over the month I was gone, my heart ached to be with you again,” Lee replied, dropping her head.
“What makes you think I didn’t miss you?” Jinxx asked, “Lee, I really missed you. I know you told me to find you whenever I calmed down, but I couldn’t bring myself to find you. Not without crying,” Jinxx added.
Lee looked up at Jinxx, and saw his eyes filling with tears, “You really missed me, Jinxx?” Lee asked, wiping her own tears away.
Jinxx gently nodded, “There wasn’t a day that went by that I didn’t think about you. It’s been quiet around the house without you and Lilith. I just want that back again,” Jinxx told her as he began to cry.
“Don’t cry, baby. Please don’t cry for me. I missed you too, and I was miserable at my brother’s house. I had my daughter, but you were missing,” Lee told Jinxx, wiping more of her tears away.
Jinxx faintly smiled, “Great. Here I am being the tough one in the relationship, and I’m crying,” he said with a laugh, which caused Lee to giggle.
“C-can I come in?” Lee asked, finally wiping the rest of her tears away.
Jinxx nodded and gently picked Lee up, “Where’s Lilith, babe?” Jinxx asked, as he walked over to the couch, Lee still in his arms.
“She’s with Jayy and Jeffree. I thought you wouldn’t take me back, and if that happened, I was going to walk back to Jayy’s house and live with him for a while,” Lee told Jinxx, twisting her wedding ring around her finger.
“Thought you’d rid of that,” Jinxx whispered out, “I didn’t think you honestly kept it.”
Lee looked up at Jinxx, still in his arms, “I would never get rid of my wedding ring. Ever. It means the world to me, just like you and Lilith,” Lee said, gently giving Jinxx a kiss.
“Remember when we started dating?” Jinxx asked after a few minutes of silence.
“Oh my gosh in High School! We were like night and day then. I was so popular, and you were an outcast,” Lee said, her eyes growing wide with excitement.
“And on the day before our prom, you walked up to me in front of all of your friends, gave me your first kiss, and told me you wanted me to take you to the prom. At the prom, you first told me you loved me, and we danced together,” Jinxx chuckled out, “I remember that night as if it were yesterday.”
“Before that night was over, we were voted prom king and queen. I remember you told me that I would always be your queen, no matter what,” Lee finished Jinxx’s thoughts for him, “Do you remember what you asked me when you brought me home?” she asked.
Jinxx chuckled as he relived the memory, “I asked you if this was the start of a relationship. Honestly, I thought you were toying with my emotions. That is, until you said it was. I gave you a kiss goodnight, and was eager for school the next day,” Jinxx said, a smile spreading across his blushing face.
“We were the most popular couple at school. I still can’t believe after school, we both started working in the studio, just so I can afford this house. After I bought it, you moved in with me, but you were scared to ask. I remember that well,” Lee giggled out.
Chuckling again, Jinxx wrapped Lee in a hug, “I still remember when I proposed to you.”
“I cried so hard that day. You said the most wonderful things to me, baby. I’m still so sorry I fought with you. It was wrong of me, and I regret not talking to you for Halloween,” Lee said sadly, dropping her head.
“Don’t apologize. Okay?” Jinxx told Lee, gently kissing her neck, “I forgive you. You’re my soulmate, Lee. I love you, baby,” Jinxx said, gently wiping Lee’s tears away.
Lee sniffled as she looked up at Jinxx, “And I love you too, mon amour. You mean the world to me, Jinxx,” Lee said with a yawn, “I really, really, really love you,” she whispered out.
Jinxx chuckled deeply, “Well let’s get you to bed. You deserve some sleep, darling,” Jinxx said, gently picking Lee back up, and bringing her to their bedroom.
