Chapter 11

After two months of nonstop pain, Lee was approaching her due date.

Lee woke up one morning, in tears. Jinxx sat up next to her, and wrapped her in a hug.

“Baby, what’s wrong?” Jinxx asked, his voice full of worry.

Lee didn’t hear him from all her crying. She gasped as Jinxx placed his chin on her shoulder, and gave her a slight kiss to her neck.

“What’s wrong, baby?” Jinxx asked again, lifting his chin.

“Just a nightmare, Jinxx. Nothing else,” Lee told him as she got out of bed.

“How close are you?” Jinxx asked as Lee began to get dressed.

Just as Lee was about to speak, she felt something trail down her legs, “Fuck. Now,” she whimpered out.

Jinxx quickly got up, “Now?” he asked as he quickly threw on some clothes.

“Yes, now. Hurry up. You need to get me to the hospital!” Lee told him, gently grabbing her stomach.

Jinxx finally tugged a pair of pants on, and picked Lee up. He ran down the stairs as fast as he could, and finally made it out to his car. Lee slowly slid into the passenger’s seat, breathing quite heavily as Jinxx began to drive to the hospital.

Jinxx finally arrived at the hospital, and carried Lee inside. He was approached by a nurse who was asking what was wrong. Jinxx quickly explained that Lee was having her child.

A few minutes later, Lee was brought to a room in the hospital, and was being prepped to have her baby.

“Jinxx, I’m scared,” Lee told Jinxx, almost crying.

“You’re going to be okay, I promise you, Lee,” Jinxx told Lee, gently gripping her hand.

Lee nodded, trying to calm down as quite a few people walked into the room, politely telling Jinxx that he had to leave.
