Chapter 17

Days passed while Lee was waiting on Jinxx to finally come back home. On the day Jinxx was supposed to come home, Lee had gotten Jayy and Jeffree up, and out of the house. Lilith was still asleep, as it was early in the morning.

Lee was sitting on the couch when she heard a car door open, then close. She quickly, and quietly, found a way to get up the stairs, and up to her bedroom.

Lee then heard the front door open, then close as she made her way down the stairs. As soon as she saw Jinxx, Lee took a running start, and lept into Jinxx’s waiting arms, her legs wrapping around Jinxx’s waist, and her arms around his nеck.

“Baby! I missed you so much,” Lee said, before kissing Jinxx.

“And I missеd you too baby. It’s so great to see you again,” Jinxx said, breaking the kiss, only to return it, “Is Lilith okay?” Jinxx asked, finally breaking the kiss.

Lee nodded, placing her forehead onto his, “If you put me down, I can go get her. Or you can just walk up the stairs like this. My brother helped me out, and I’ve got everything I need for her. She’s asleep in her crib now,” Lee replied.

Jinxx chuckled deeply, “I’d rather stay with you right now. Come on, let’s get you back to bed,” Jinxx said, walking back to the bedroom.

Lee nodded as Jinxx gently placed her on her side of the bed. Jinxx rounded the bed, and went to sleep as well, bringing Lee closer to him as he drifted off to sleep.

A few hours later, Jinxx was woken up by Lilith crying. He sighed as he rolled out of bed to check on her.
Gently picking Lilith up, Jinxx brought her into the living room, and sat down on the couch. Jinxx looked into Lilith’s eyes and smiled. Lilith stopped her crying, and calmed down.

“Oh,” Jinxx gasped out, “You’ve got my eyes, but you’ve got your mother’s pronounced cheekbones. You’re going to be so beautiful, Lilith,” he said, gently tapping the end of Lilith’s nose.

Lilith giggled, then laughed as Jinxx gently kept talking to her, “When you grow up, I’m gonna show you how to play guitar, and you’ll be just as good as I am,” he said, gently kissing the top of Lilith’s head.

Lilith giggled again as Jinxx heard Lee walk down the stairs. Lee yawned as she went to grab a cup of coffee.

Rubbing her eyes, and yawning again, Lee made her way over to the couch next to Jinxx, and began to drink her coffee.

“Morning, Jinxx. It’s still great so see you. The last time I saw you was what? After I gave birth to Lilith, right?” Lee asked, leaning onto Jinxx’s bare shoulder.

Jinxx nodded, “Yeah. Something like that. I really missed you, Lee. But why didn’t you tell me that Lilith has my eyes?” he asked, looking over at Lee.

Lee giggled, “I wanted it to be a surprise. You’re all the time doing something shocking for me. I just wanted to let you see her for yourself.”

Jinxx deeply chuckled, “Well I’m glad. Lilith’s going to grow up to look just like you. I know it,” he said, gently kissing Lee’s neck.

“It’s cold in here. Even your shoulder is cold,” Lee said, removing her head from Jinxx’s bare shoulder. Jinxx gently kissed the top of Lee’s head as he carefully handed her Lilith.

Finding the heater dial, Jinxx turned the heat up, then returned back to his wife’s side.

“Is that better?” Jinxx asked, wrapping his arm around Lee.

Lee nodded her head, and attempted to cuddle with Jinxx for warmth. Jinxx saw Lee struggling to cuddle with him, as she was holding a sleeping Lilith. Gently picking Lilith up, Jinxx brought her back to her crib, and then walked back down the stairs to Lee.

Lee exhaled deeply as she snuggled closer to Jinxx, wishing she could spend the entire day with him right where they were.
