Chapter 12

A few hours later, Jinxx was allowed back in the room where Lee was panting heavily, her baby safely in her arms.

“Baby,” Lee breathed out, “You didn’t leave me.”

Jinxx chuckled as he walked over to Lee, “No. I would never leave you. That’s a promise.”

Lee smiled as Jinxx sat on the bed, “I get to go home in about three days. Lilith does too,” she said, gently rolling Lilith over so Jinxx could see her.

“She’s beautiful,” Jinxx told Lee, almost crying.

Lee looked at Jinxx, “Why are you crying, baby?” she asked, playfully tilting her head to thе side.

“I’m crying because I don’t know what I did to dеserve you and the baby. But there is some bad news,” Jinxx told Lee, wiping his tears away.

Lee smiled, “Baby you deserve me. You’re my soulmate, and I love you. Lilith is going to know that her father is an amazing man. But what’s the bad news?” she asked, looking down at Lilith, then back up at Jinxx.

“While you were having Lilith, I got a text. Apparently, the band can go back touring. I want to stay with you and the baby, but the band needs me, Lee. I don’t know what I want right now. I really want you, but I want to tour again,” Jinxx said sadly.

Lee simply nodded, “Go tour, baby. Have fun. I can take care of the baby. Promise me you’ll text me every day though.”

Jinxx nodded, “I promise you. I’ll text you every day I can. But are you sure you can take care of her by yourself?” he asked.

Lee nodded again, “And if I cannot take care of her, I’ll call my friend Jeffree. He’d help me,” Lee told Jinxx simply.

“You’re going to call your male friend over to help with Lilith?” Jinxx asked, his eyebrow raising in question.

“You don’t remember Jeffree? Baby, Jeffree’s gay. He might call me 'babe' or 'baby', but that’s just what he calls me. Baby, I love you, you, and only you. I wouldn’t cheat on you,” Lee told him, hiding the fact that she was upset at Jinxx for thinking she was going to cheat on him.

Jinxx sighed, “I forgot. Forgive me. I do have to go right now. There’s a flight leaving for Nashville in about an hour, and that’s where the band wanted to start from,” Jinxx then leaned up to give Lee a very passionate kiss, before standing up, “I love you, Lee. Be good.”

Lee nodded and smiled gently, "Love you too Jinxx. Stay safe."
