Chapter 16

A few hours later, Lee emerged from her bedroom in tears. She had just gotten another phone call from Jinxx saying that he’d be home quite soon, and that he doesn’t have covid anymore.

“Jayy! Jeffree!” Lee yelled, running down the stairs. After almost tripping over her own feet, Lee finally made it down to the bottom of the stairs.

“What, Lee?” Jayy asked, turning around as Jeffree did as well.

“Jinxx is coming home soon!” Lee told them as she began to cry.

“Then why are you crying?” Jayy and Jeffree both asked, looking at Lee.

“This isn’t sad tears though. Jеffree, hand me Lilith. I want my daughter right now,” Lee said, wiping her tеars away as Jeffree handed her Lilith.

Lilith giggled as Lee held her, looking into her blue eyes, “Haven’t you noticed? I have dark blue eyes, and Jinxx has baby blue eyes, and Lilith has a mixture of our eye color. More of Jinxx’s than mine though,” Lee said, gently tapping Lilith on the end of her nose, which caused her to laugh.

“Yeah, but she looks like her daddy,” Jayy replied.

“I don’t wanna hear it Jayy. I don’t know how I turned out blonde hair, blue eyed, and you turned out black hair, brown eyed. I took after both parents, and we don’t know who you took after,” Lee replied, sticking her tongue out at Jayy.

Jeffree looked over at Jayy, “So you had black hair? And brown eyes?” he asked, looking into Jayy’s eyes.

Jayy nodded, “Yeah. I dye my hair, and use contacts. The icy blue look is better. I hope you’re not mad,” Jayy said, laying down across Jeffree’s lap.

“I’m not. I like the look you have now,” Jeffree told him, “But you say Jinxx is coming home soon? Like how soon?” Jeffree asked, turning his attention back to Lee.

“He said within a few days, if not a week,” Lee replied.

“That’s great, hun. I’ll bet you’re really excited to see him,” Jeffree told her, a smile spreading across his face.

Lee nodded as she carefully handed Lilith to Jayy, “Yeah, Jeffree. I’m super excited to see him again.”

Jayy looked up at Lee with the look of sadness spreading across his face, “So before Jinxx comes home, we gotta go, right?”

Lee sighed sadly, “Yeah, sadly. But right now, it’s getting late. Do the both of you want some dinner?” she asked, “You can even stay the night. We have a guest room, so both of you can stay the entire night.”

Jeffree and Jayy both shared a look before turning back to Lee, “Alright. We’ll both stay with you until a little bit before Jinxx comes back,” Jayy told her, “You know he doesn’t approve of Jeffree,” he said, running his right hand over Jeffree’s cheek.

Lee nodded as she went to prepare dinner for the three of them. After dinner, Jayy and Jeffree started cuddling on the couch, as Lee was busy with Lilith. After a few hours, Jeffree and Jayy went to bed, as well as Lilith and Lee.
