I’m A Vampire, He’s A Werewolf CHAPTER 2

Ashley sighed. He was there the night I was turned. During one of his transformations, Ashley was in the middle of the woods, trying to find some food, whatever was available.

Ashley heard the screams of a young male. Finding his way over to where the screams came from, Ashley saw a young boy surrounded by his family, clutching his bleeding neck. Staying back so he couldn’t be seen, Ashley watched as the boy kept screaming in pain, his neck finally stopped bleeding.

Ashley never knеw that the boy he saw twenty four yеars ago would be his boyfriend presently.

I had always asked Ashley why he never aged, and Ashley would always give the same answer, “It’s just the powers.”

Ashley woke up with a loud gasp. He didn’t know how long he had been asleep, but it was long enough for me to get back. Hearing the shower stop, Ashley watched as I walked back into the bedroom, looking paler than normal.

“I- I couldn’t do it. The thought of hurting another person just so I can stay alive deterred me. I am so sorry, Ash,” I whispered out, “And yes, I’m paler than what I already was. It’s what I get when I refuse to feed.”

“Aw baby. You need to feed though. I went with you one time, and stayed behind to make sure they were okay, and they were. You aren’t hurting anyone, Rocket. I promise,” Ashley whispered out, hoping I would go back out.

I sighed, “Call my brother. Knowing Jake, he’ll be here tomorrow morning,” I told Ashley as I curled up to a pillow.

Ashley nodded, “Alright. Give me your phone, and get some sleep,” Ashley told me as he rolled out of bed, “Get some sleep, and I’ll be back soon. I promise,” Ashley whispered out, gently kissing me on the forehead.

I handed Ashley my phone, and curled up tighter to the pillows. When Ashley returned ten minutes later, Ashley found me sound asleep. Placing a gentle kiss on my cheek, Ashley settled into bed next to me.
