A lot of people have asked me what--who, who I'm addressing in "Your Long Year." I had one person, had the theory that I was singing this to Gene Eugene. But in fact, it really is a sort of older person, wiser person talking to a younger person who feels immortal and that, uh, life goes on and on. It's sort of an object lesson.
