Terry’s Greeting

Hey, guys. Welcome, uh, to my home. I'm in the living room right now with Tom Gulotta, and we're putting together the "Swine Before Pearl" album, record--I don't know what you call 'em now. CD.

I had this idea awhile back about doing something that was sort of like a surprise package, uh, collection of recordings. And the idea of "Swine Before Pearl" is the swine are the demos or whatever, and the pearls are the finished product. So we're kinda going back with this stuff, and some of this stuff may take other--some more polished forms down the road. You know, the new stuff may do that. So--so that's the whole idea for the title of the project.

Now, we've got the mics set up here in my living room, and we've got my guitar, and I'm gonna be performing some classics and some new songs, and you'll get to hear them exactly as I wrote them. And stuff I found on old tapes, I'm gonna play you as well, stuff I think that you're gonna find interesting and enjoyable.

Now, I warn you, Deb may get back from grocery shopping, and we'll have to stop recording for awhile until things settle down again, but other than that, we're good to go. So have a seat, kick back, relax, and I think we're gonna have a good time together.
