Death of a Child

Verse 1
I know what it's like to feel a child's pain
When he's hungry on the streets without a damn thing
Ain't neither parent there just lost with no cause
Just tossed in life's jaws, the frost of life's flaws
Struggling to survive the cost of life's laws
Tryna grow to be a boss and floss with no pause
But end up getting crossed from the claws this world draws
It just leaves me sickened how the world doesn't listen
Everybody's busy fishing for everything that glistens
Then we go and wonder why all these souls are missing
Believing that our reason for breathing is to be bleeding
Constantly deceiving and misleading everything we're seeing
Subconsciously alter, subliminally leaking
It's about time we rid our lives of all the lies their speaking
There's a constant war on drugs, ongoing war on terror
But they're the ones buying drugs to invoke all this terror, man

Verse 2
It's a given living in a country with no vision that everybody is conditioned and suffering from addiction
Nobody has a drive, no one has ambition
Believing false predictions, it's a sight to see
Waiting for permission, thinking that they might be freed
When the ones wide awake know we fight to succeed
Obey for no need, I'd rather turn off the TV and grab a book to read
Plant my own seeds
Learned long, long ago that they blind and bride with the disease they feed
Spreading hatred and greed
Legalizing what'll kill you, stay pushing off weed
But my eyes are wide open, that's just not my breed
We're all living through a story that we've all heard of
Half of us haven't stopped to take a breath in a while
Trapped where equality doesn't exist
And that's what I call the death of a child man

Verse 3
This last verse is dedicated to those souls who never made it
The ones self educated who refused to be dictated
Brilliant minds not dominated so they ended up assassinated
The few innovated who weren't manipulated
Can't lie man, I hate it myself
Politics are all about gaining power and wealth
Making sure to deny us of any cures to ensure a mass decline in health
This a third world country itself
We're being stripped of our rights, in dire need of some help
Oddly enough they try to cover it up
Giving us gay marriage, tryna seem like they're just
While the news excludes views of Syria blown up
They're selling all these weapons, dragging us to wars
When the fuck will we stand? Knock down their doors
There needs to be a change and it needs to happen soon
Otherwise we're creating room for our very own doom
