Bird Heading South

Watching the sunset from your parent's porch
We saw the lights all go out in the suburbs
The chirping crickets and your creaky screen doors
Seem like the soundtrack to that summer

Well I've got my whole life to be broken-hearted
But only one more night I get to hang out with you

But sit on your driveway, watch the season fly past like a bird heading south for the winter
