Theycallmejeff is a rapper and producer from Pennsylvania who is known for his clever wordplay, cheery tone, and having many references to Pokémon, cartoons, Magic the Gathering, and movies in his songs.

Born Isaiah Richard Russell, Theycallmejeff’s musical interests started when he began playing drums as a little kid, and eventually he started making beats in 8th grade. Because of Jeff’s passion for music, his favorite school subject was music class. Throughout school, Theycallmejeff struggled with dyslexia and didn’t do well with math, as explained on his song Music Class. He eventually dropped out of college to pursue music, as mentioned in several of his songs.

Theycallmejeff is perhaps most known for his many collaborations with London Yellow. They have been featured on each other’s songs, and Jeff produced a lot of London’s songs.
