Well I have a long list of rogues and renegades, so I guess I better get on with it. I think of Waylon Jennings, who was a good friend of mine for many years. I didn't realise how good of a friend, isn't that funny? And all of a sudden there's a missing space. I was privileged to work with the four gentlemen - Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson, Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson - on an album and they recorded one of my songs. It caused a bit of a stir in the country market. After it was all over, I had said to Waylon "That song I wrote for you guys," I said, "I got a Grammy award for that. For Best Country Song." And he said "hmm... which country?" [audience laughs]
