Richard Harris (story)

That song comes from a new album, my first in 10 years, called Twilight of the Renegades. And it's in honour, if you will, or in memory of some great characters that I've known in my life. Rogues, renegades, rap-scallions, people who like to swim upstream, and a kind of character I think is sadly disappearing from the scene in our society. Even as I speak, I think of people who inspired this record, like Warren Zevon, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, and Richard Harris - my divinely mad Irish friend.
