[Hook: Mishael Carter]
Just know we're all crashing down
The sound never resounds
When hitting the ground, you'd think that we'd stop dead
But we're diamonds, hard, we go through the earth where we shine
[Verse 1: Miles Canady]
10 PM and I'm suffocating in silence, got school tomorrow, I'm tired but Annie's keeping me up
Falling out of orbit, the bullets she shot me down with were 44 missed calls like the first 3 weren't enough
I knew it wouldn't last, should've braced myself for this crash, my mind blank for a second, then I just look at myself
'Damn, you were doing so well, you let your thoughts get you down, you made your own living hell'
You can see in the way I act like it's nothing, now i'm all alone, rocking back & forth like that'll change something
I try to let it out, but I say nothing, I know it won't help, but I stay running
Anything to try to deal with the damages, but I don't know where to begin with how to handle this
I knew that feeling of freedom wouldn't last, so i'm not too surprised by this crash
[Hook]
[Verse 2: Miles Canady]
One thought led to another, which led to this downwards spiral, which led to my scream for help, I guess it don't sound so vital
I know it won't be my final, go toe to toe with my trials, I talk with my insecurities, they got me on speed dial
How it usually goes - I get sick of the cycles, I think of asking for help, but that first yell is stifled
Scream for help again, I realize their denial, I beg them not to be idle, instead they throw me a bible
Feeling like overcoming this obstacle's futile, I watch the days darken slow
Mom suggesting medication, imma tell that doctor no, I still watch the sky fall and never let my problems go
Loneliness creeping, I miss when I was fond of it, Did nothing wrong, but I'm still facing consequence
Nothing new, but it's still ominous - Ground getting closer as I drop fast as my confidence
[Hook]
[Outro]
Just know, just know, we're all crashing down
