Punks (Where’s the Bone?) Annotated

My folks wanted me to be a doctor. That obviously did not work out. I graduated 417 out of a class of 427... ahead of the special-ed class and the AC/DC fan club. I'm on the highway to hell, baby.

I love rock 'n roll. There's just something that's neat about it, you know? I like punk rock. I don't like the music but I like people in it. I respect them. You know, most people are like, 'Yeah, I don't like Reagan, but that's life. Huh-huh!' You know, they've got no spy. Punk rockers are like, 'Yeah, I don't like Reagan, so I think I'll stick a bone up me arse.' Man. 'Think I'll paint me hair purple.' Damn, this guy does not like the man! These people who do have green and purple hair, where do they work during the day? Anyone throwing that question around? You're at Denny's, you get a purple hair in your salad, you know?
