Tzamal is a Greek hip hop underground rapper based in the city of Thessaloniki.
He started with his group Voria Asteria in 1997 initially as a graffiti group, but two years later they formed a music group with the same name.
They released numerous projects without the backing of a label for most of the 2000’s, becoming famous in the region of Thessaloniki and later in all of Greece.
In 2010, they signed to an independent label called Ixokratoria releasing the first official album, called 5 Asteron.
After that, they went on a hiatus as a band and started releasing solo projects, with Tzamal releasing his debut solo album I Favela on December 21, 2015 following by I Koupa Tou Iouda on February 16, 2020.
