Awake and staring at the dawn
Entranced by a presence in the room
A rising figure approaching me
I’m laying paralysed and powerless
To this figure standing here before me
Embrace the horror tonight

Fear intensified, hostile
To never see the light tonight
Standing at the end of the bed
The mother of all fear
As it stares in my eyes
Completely paralysed, am I still alive?
Scream internally
Bound by the force of this sinister entity

To rise at the strike of the hour
Never to escape
Nocturnal terror
Every night I lie awake
To suffer at the strike of the hour

Pacing through the veil of dreams, my body is bound by this evil force
Deny this presence once more but I cannot move, I cannot scream at all
