The Box

I didn't order any packages
I didn't send for anything
But there it was out on the patio
And so I brought the box inside

I was afraid to open it, I was afraid to open it
I was afraid to find out what might be inside

I let it sit there in my living room
I let the neighbors take a look
And when my neighbor asked me what it was
I turned to him and then I said
