The Apostle Paul says, "There is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus." And he says that on the heels of the remarkable testimony of his battle with sin in Romans chapter seven, where he says he has this inner turmoil, not doing what he wants to do and doing what he hates and when he would do good, evil would be present with him
And he says that he would rejoice in the law in the inner man but he sees another law in his members. Who shall deliver him from the body of this death? Believers live in the body of death. But thank God through Jesus Christ there is that deliverance! There's no condemnation now in Christ Jesus
The blood of Christ, its efficacy, its sufficiency, its richness, its eternality, its durability, its stability, its generating power, never changes or loses any of those features. So when we sin, as Robert Murray M'Cheyne says, "For every look at yourself, at your sin, take ten looks at Christ."
