The Pit of Eidolon is not just a random opening in the ground. It serves as something much more intricate and complex. This structure actually has a supernatural ability of absorbing energy in a very disturbing way. As The Dark Assembly takes place and the ritual known as The Offering of Souls is performed, all of the offerings that were sacrificed in the courtyard by The Executioner are immediately taken into the chamber of The Pit. Once inside, The Three Watchеrs begin a second ritual that is led by Thе Necromancer. The bodies are then placed on top of the small wall that surrounds The Pit by placing them on top of the wall so that their upper torsos are dangling down into the entrance of The Pit. As The Necromancer begins speaking in a language only known to few, The Butcher then stands behind the bodies and beheads them one by one, allowing the heads to fall down into the pit as the heads drop and the blood spills down into the pitch black below. The Necromancer's chants are said to conjure a dark energy that is said to separate the souls from the bodies. The souls are then rumored to be transported through an unseen passage and then sent to a different, unknown location on Titan. Why these souls are being captured and the purpose for what they serve have still yet to be explained
