[Verse 1]
I wish I could pull away the clothes that dress your mind
As easy as when we both undress each other
Underneath the southeast sky, I asked you for a light
Now I'd do anything to keep us together
Don't say that you're giving up
[Chorus]
What if you decide that you don't wanna wake up, too?
I don't know what I'd do
'Cause I've built my life around you
Don't you know the skin that you're given was made to be lived in?
You've got a life
You've got a life worth living
[Verse 2]
Bussing down to Waterloo just to feel control
I can't fix everything, as much as I want to
You were in and out of thinking you could live past twelve
You're so much different now, it can't destroy you
So don't say that you're giving up
[Chorus]
What if you decide that you don't wanna wake up, too?
I don't know what I'd do
'Cause I've built my life around you
Don't you know the skin that you're given was made to be lived in?
You've got a life
You've got a life worth living

It exists for anyone who...
That’s not an easy song to sing.
I felt like the only way I could make them realise that they were worth more was by writing them the song. That song was never meant to be released, it was meant to be for someone. And even having to tap into that place, I was in the studio crying my eyes out.

I wrote it the day after one of my friends was very much on the brink, and who felt like they weren’t needed on this planet anymore. It was my way of telling them that they were, and that they have a life worth living—that’...
