[NARRATOR]
And Moses led his people
And God led Moses
In a pillar of fire by night
In a pillar of cloud by day
And Moses saw the shining waters of the Red Sea
And he heard the music of the water
And the Red Sea murmured softly
And the people murmured like the sea
And they heard something behind 'em
The pumping of horses' hooves
The sound of chariots too
And they knew
Pharaoh's army was chasing them into the sеa
What to do?
Moses cried, "God"
[MOSES]
Help mе
[GOD]
Be cool
Be my fool
Everything's gonna be alright
Raise your hand
Reach for the Promised Land
[NARRATOR]
And Moses did as he was told
And behold
The sweet wind blew and parted the waters
And the Hebrew children walked through the Red Sea
And Pharaoh's army followed into the middle of the parted waters
And the waters rolled like thunder
And the waters rolled onto Pharaoh's army
Good night!
Pharaoh's army drowned in the sea
The Hebrew children were free
They sang their brave song to their one God
Of sky, of storm, of true, of sea
They were free
