Mount Sinai

They'd come to that mountain called Mount Sinai
And Moses heard God calling from someplace near the sky
There was thunder on the mountain
And trumpets of doom

Moses climbed up that mountain to talk with God
And God gave Moses ten commandments on tablets of stone

Then Moses come off the mountain with the tablets in his hand
His face was shining with a bright light
Meanwhile, back on the ground at the foot of the mountain
The people had forgot all about God
They were gettin' down
They were partying night and day
There be a golden calf and they bowed down before it
