My name is Adriel Rivera
I am 17 years old and I started this journal
Because I felt that, one day, I'd be a different person
From finding my passion to my mum's psychosis
To questioning all life, as it is, and my parents' divorce
I've grown
Life is bittersweet
I've come to learn that in the recent years
But it's yours
Your outlook is what determines your happiness
You can choose to mope around
Or you can pour your grief into an outlet that will do you well
To my friends, family and the little fan base I currently have
I don't want you to feel bad for mе
I've already fought through my trials
And persеvered stronger than ever before
This album is for you
The one who has a dream and is struggling to take action
The one who has a loved one that is affected by mental illness
Or you, yourself, are
The one with an internal conflict that needs to be solved
And the ones with parents that are on the path of separating
You're not alone
Everyone in this world has problems, big and small
But there's always someone to listen to yours
No matter what it is
Your hurdles will be conquered
And you'll look back at how far you've come
I decided to make my problems public through this album
Because it was a way for me to cope with my situations
And anyone that needs a helping hand
Could hopefully relate to some of the things I've gone through
And use it to heal themselves
Through my music, I hope to help mend the wounds of the broken
This is my passion
This is my purpose
This is Music Therapy
