Matthew and I have been together for about... two and a half years now?

I remember a guy I knew who worked with me
Brought, uh... he told my boss about her
I think he liked her but that's besides the point

I remember I-
We started talking and I actually didn't like her at all
I thought she was total pain in the butt, like...
We were not alike
I thought she was like... kinda like...
Cause she was quiet, thought she didn't like me
Um... But then like I started like...
We had a lot of similar things in common
Like she liked a lot of music that I enjoyed
And I remember
I think the thing that caught me on to her was that
She actually cared about what I was saying

Throughout a lot of high school
Like I never really felt like I was apart of a like...
A group that like really cared about me all that much
Most of the time I just kinda felt like...
I was kinda lonely throughout all of it but...
She really kinda made me feel like I was special
That I had skills, I had talent, y'know

She was amazing
She had a great heart, she was beautiful and...
Y'know, we went to Second Friday for our first date and...
I just knew that was the girl I wanted to be with

That's all you could ever ask for in life man

She's amazing and I'm happy that I have her in my life
