15:52: Both teams are out for the national anthems.

15:55: What have Neymar and Dani Alves done to their hair?!

16:00: Brazil get the game under way.

16:05: Some many feisty challenges and a high paced tempo from both teams so far, but nothing much to talk about as of yet.

16:10: First big chance of the game and Fred side foots Oscar's cross into the side netting.

16:19: A whole lot of nothing so far, apart from a few more rash challenges from both teams.

16:24: Hector Hérrera with a brilliant effort that's tipped over by César.

16:25: Neymar!! No it's saved, quite brilliantly I might add.

16:26: Goal line technology called in to double-check that Neymar header.

16:39: 39 minutes gone and it's still 0-0. Neymar with the best chance of the game so far (16:25).

16:41: Mexico with a bit of pressure on Brazil. Vázquez has César worried, but his shot goes just wide.

16:43: Big chance and a big save! Brazil's freekick ends up with Luiz toe pocking the ball toward the goal, but Ochoa saves once more.

16:46: Half Time. Brazil 0-0 Mexico.

16:55: Who's your man of the match so far? My vote goes to this guy.

17:01: Bernard comes on for Ramires, as both teams come out for the second half.
Mexico kick off. Will someone score tonight?

17:05: Great defending denies Neymar from heading Brazil into the lead.

17:14: The game is starting to open up more. This time it's Mexico with a good effort that goes just over the crossbar.

17:17: Mexico taking shots from everywhere at the minute. Maybe it's time for Chicharito to come on and give them a different option up front.

17:47: Mexico beginning to threaten, two good chances in as many minutes.

17:50: It's all over, Brazil have been held to a goalless draw against Mexico.
