God Won’t Live Here Anymore

Some darkened morning
When you wake up and the sun won’t shine
You’ll think where’s the light of the world
When the moon turns into blood
You’ll recall the blood he shed on calvary
When the stars start falling from the sky
You’ll cry where’s the star of bethlehem
This world will seem like a foreign land to every man
All the lilies will refuse to bloom
And the roses will have lost their sweet perfume
And God won’t live here anymore

From out of nowhere a golden trumpet started playing
The clouds all burst wide open
And time and space stood still
And saints were caught away
On silver stallions singing alleluia
Praise be unto Him
Men will grope in the darkness
Searching for the light
For there’ll cease to be a knowledge
Of what’s wrong or right
If any man is saved it’ll be by faith
There’ll be no striving spirit, love or grace
It all could be a thousand years away
It could be tomorrow it might be today
