Castanets

Tonight a 1000 castanets will sound
Here with my ear held to the ground

There a choir of crickets singing
The night is young what is it bringing

So come on boys let's see what you're worth
We'll all go and quench our thirst

And visit all the bars
Between Ponsonby and Mars
And drink a slow toast to the stars

But the pool room is dimly lit
You chalk your cue and then you hit

Trying your best for the orifice
It's all the same like hit or miss
