Phillip Mweemba who uses his Real Name as his artist name was born in Lusaka, Zambia on March 8th 1998, he grew up in Lagos Nigeria after moving there at the age of 7 in December 2005 and where he spent 12 years of his life 8 years in Lagos and 4 years in Abuja he discovered hip-hop music and rapping at the age of 9 after his family friends moved from Zambia to Nigeria late 2007 their oldest son played music from his Desktop Computer and he was drawn to the song My Name Is by Eminem and also watching Music Videos on Trace Urban and was also drawn to the song a milli by Lil Wayne and from then he was inspired to start rapping.

he started writing raps in his school note books but didn’t know how to make music until 2011 when he received FL Studio 08 by his family who had introduced him to hip-hop when he released his first song on hulkshare titled Itty Bit, Little Bite which was a song influenced by the New Boyz jerking sound which was popular in the early 2010s, the song received 250 downloads and got him nominated for the 2013 Mp3 Music Awards for Best Teen Artist in the United Kingdom just at 15 years old but losing to Willow Smith

At 18 years old in 2016 and going by the rap name “Ridikulous” dubbed by his high school friends as he was “Ridiculously talented”, He went on to release his first 11 track mixtape titled TheRevengeOfRidikulousMixtape which featured an international flavor of features his friends T2ND and Ife Isiola from Nigeria, DopexBoeyxUzzi and D.Skillz from South Africa and Doug.G from New York which had amassed 2000+ plays from all songs combined on SoundCloud
The mixtape featured Boom Bap centric production with some beats for Dr Dre, Eminem and The Throne, it covered topics of broken relationships, dream chasing, self-assessment and high school stories , and songs with sharp witty, lyricism and catchy flows with mulyisyllabic rhyming

In 2020 he participated in Eminem’s Godzilla Challenge and his video went viral amassing 200,000 views on Twitter and 2 million views on a featured YouTube video and was named one of the best 5 by Music Publications namely Rolling Stone, Billboard, Hip-Hop DX and many others

He is known from his clever word play and double and sometimes triple entendres, his baritone raspy voice, rapid fire flows and dizzying multisyllabic internal rhymes
His sound can be categorized as Alternative Hip Hop which includes various sounds that range from 90s hip hop “Boom Bap”, Jazz Rap, Rap-Rock Lo-Fi Hip-Hop, Alternative R&B, Pop Rap and Trap
