Charlie McDonnell is an English vlogger, musician, filmmaker, and author from Bath, Somerset. He is recognised from his YouTube channel charlieissocoollike, which on 15 June 2011 became the first in the UK to reach one million subscribers.

As a musician, McDonnell was a member of Doctor Who-themed rock band Chameleon Circuit and was also a member of the short-lived project Sons of Admirals until it disbanded in May 2011. Prior to this, in 2010, McDonnell released his first solo album, titled This Is Me, which received a lot of hype within the YouTube community.
