Turn around and wonder where the dreams of yesterday have gone!

Ex-warlord’s doing roof repair;
And bowing to wimps who don’t care
That he once ruled the streets, by night;
And he had never lost the fight;
How could they have shut off the light?
What made them take his divine right away, today?

Go to sleep for a hundred years

Peel melted flesh off the concrete;
See the red glow, feel intense heat;
Take the shame! You’re to blame!
You saw it coming down, but you didn’t make them stop!

You slept right through the blast, now never

Once complex world is now but a green dot midst the sky;
