Truth Is

The truth is I’m a sinner and it’s official, but ever since I’ve been with you/ conflict is convictin’, convincin’ me of my issues/ tempted to think that it’s you, then my vision gets crystal/ clear, the image appears in the mirror and it’s a sick dude// when did i get so sinful? what have I gotten into?/ no one’s made me so angry before, is it consequential/ or merely coincidental, was I trippin’ to pick you/ or was i trippin’ the minute I figured this would be simple?// I remember the arguments three o'clock in the morning and/ can’t remember what started it cryin’ confessin’ all our sin/ We’ve gotta change because, with the time that’s been taken up/ I’ll be late when I’m wakin’ up, but I’m glad that we’re makin’ up// it’s crazy but, is that what reconciliation does?/ we went from inches of(from) breakin’ stuff to (makin’ love)/ make no mistakes, I ain’t down-playin’ the pain, it sucks/ but that’s the cost of sanctification and gainin’ trust//
