Truth is defined in Webster's Dictionary as "the conformity to reality or that which has fidelity to the original." In any instance or issue, there can only be one truth. As Christians, we hold to the Word of God as our objective standard of truth. It is verifiable in all of its claims and statements. Now, with every truth, there's a choice that's presented: adhere to it or continue on in ignorance. For example: if I tell you that everyone is subject to the law of gravity, you now have the choice to either call me narrow-minded in my one way of thinking and go jump off a cliff trying to prove me wrong or you can accept that truth and live your life subject to it, using caution around cliffs and other falling hazards. That same example is true with the Word of God. If I tell you that everyone on the planet is a sinner, God hates sin and has to punish it, but He also loves you so he sent His son Jesus to take your punishment on the cross, then He raised His Son from the dead to prove His word is true and if you don't accept Jesus as the truth, you will face God's wrath in hell, you now have the option to accept that truth and let it change you or reject it and let it condemn you. That's your responsibility. Our job is simply to deliver the gospel along with the other truths of the Word of God in order to edify believers, evangelize the lost, and give a clear presentation of God's character to all. And that's truth
