Track 8:colors of the city
All the colors we see help shape our perception through pupil and cone reception all that we perceive shapes our realities some hallucinations are abnormalities our internal computer having technicalities but I’m not so sure light hits a prism atmospheric gasses bends the wave lengths creating schism

Peaceful march down town on a sunny day all the colors go through rainbow shirts and a tutu rainbow flags fly red stop light traffic comes to a halt waiting for the hand to wave me across with the walking figure default I hear all the sounds of the city birds chirp and chatter cars honk and clatter I enter the cross walk I notice orange traffic cones near a construction zone a man with a yellow tone helmet running a jack hammer arguing with his foreman I can hear them clammer I cross the street as the lights turn green cars begin to honk immediately the traffic cop waves some slackers on with his whistle they listen obediently

Red and blue ambulance fire and police cars whiz by as I continue my walk sirens whaling police in blue uniforms white and blue Chicago police car with the red stars as I walk past some neon lit bars nuns in a black and white suit ask me did I repent today yellow school busses passes as I’m hit with rain puddle spray field tripping kids headed to the field museum laughter fills the air metro busses and trains run as people drop quarters in for fare indigo water of the Chicago river I see my reflection I contemplate how were all connected through energy and interconnection I think back to that nun maybe I will go to midnight mass tonight and start a new leaf I hear a yell as a man runs and drops his brief I turn around to a man in a violet and white clown mask pointing a gun at me my body freezes in cold shock and horror as my hearts field with grief
