[Verse 1]
I know I'm gonna see you this weekend
But I'm feeling weak and
I don't know what to do
Anticipating, got my heart racing
I'm calculating the moment you
Hold me in the dark
No, it don't have to be so far
[Chorus]
Can we just skip to tomorrow night, tonight, tonight?
Press fast forward, tangled up sheets, red wine, then rewind
Yeah, I know patience is a virtue but I've been waiting for you
So can we just skip to tomorrow night, tonight, tonight?
Tomorrow night, tonight
[Verse 2]
You're bringing out my addictive side
Yeah, I wish that I could play it cool
But in my head you're laying in my bed
And I stay obsessed 'til I'm with you
I know you feel the same
And we're just letting time slip away
[Chorus]
Can we just skip to tomorrow night, tonight, tonight?
Press fast forward, tangled up sheets, red wine, thеn rewind
Yeah, I know patiencе is a virtue but I've been waiting for you
So can we just skip to tomorrow night, tonight, tonight?
Tomorrow night
Tomorrow night
[Bridge]
I don't care if this makes me look desperate
I don't care no, I don't care
[Chorus]
Can we just skip to tomorrow night, tonight, tonight? Yeah
Press fast forward, tangled up sheets, red wine, then rewind
Yeah, I know patience is a virtue but I've been waiting for you
So can we just skip to tomorrow night, tonight, tonight?
Tomorrow night, yeah
Tomorrow night, tonight, tonight
[Outro]
Oh, oh, oh, oh, tonight

I had a zoom session booked with Devin Guisande and Aaron Chafin that I was prepping for. I came up with the chorus for “tomorrow night” and when the session started, the song was written incredibly fast. When an idea is so simple and so relatable, it tends to write itself!
I remember starting to date my now boyfriend and being so impatient with getting to see him again. Society makes us feel like we have to play the game, act cool, don’t be too eager. And this song really just strips all of that away and shows what we’re all actually feeling when we start to fall for...
After the zoom writing session, I sent a worktape to Aaron who then created a demo for me to sing over. Once it was time to track the song in the studio, the session band really just elevated what was already there. The demo was extremely close to what the finished product sounds like! Then I reside...
