VERSE 1: My arms stretched out reaching to those stressed out and beefing / cause they don't know what real life is / this world appeals so they only know what real hype is / I'm on some -- I been there this world is still trifling / it's like you move fast to get nowhere / and when it feels like you there you see you really ain't gained nothing / you get things but inside it don't change nothing / look at your favorite stars they be fronting / for lights cameras fame and fortune / they'll spend their whole lives to get a portion on what's only temporary / this life's short you here then you buried / but oscar's and grammy's they rather carry before being carried by six / I'm trying to show y'all this life is a mist / I learned the hard way but now Christ is my twist / I've been through heartbreaks and hardships / relationships went stale like hard chips but my heart's His / was fascinated with garbage / put on a front claiming to be the hardest / put on a front to sound the smartest / but on the real was just a con artist / whose heart was the farthest like Saul from Tarsus my name changed / my aim changed now I spit about freedom / promote Christ but most don't want to see Him / they got false books about those who claim to be Him / and they believe those false books though they barely read them / some of them never read them but they just want to feel good they never change / thirty with a ten year old's brain / doing them same old things / the only thing that changes is age / but in this dying age it's a shame / so woe is me if I don't preach Christ is the way out / instead of sitting watching like stakeouts / a lot of cats on their one-two fake out / Christ is marrying but most will rather just make out but I believe //
