The RTSD (Interlude)

Searching for the missing parts of me
Like if I found the answers, would it all make sense to me?
So desperately wanting an identity
Why is it so important to be defined
Easily placed and controlled, not free?
If you were still here, would I stand more comfortably on my feet?
Not constantly on the edge of anxiety and defeat
When my wounds are still open, so how can I not bleed?
I want to feel, want to heal, want to teach
Let me dance, let me sing, let me preach
Who am I supposed to be?
Looking at the sky where it meets the sea
And where the two lines meet shows the balance in between
The light and the dark, the old soul and the inner child in me
The places I've been, the people stood right next to me
Shows the beauty in unknowingly
Fighting for life, fighting for a path shaped with uncertainty
And this, this is the road of self-discovery
