He used to care about himself
Never cared for anybody else

He went into the local store
Like a million times before
Contemplating who that was before him

And although that was expensive
For an expired package of chewing gum
That he would not even dream of chewing on

She's a supermarket girlfriend and when she smiles he dreams away
He gets a discount every time he goes there
So he goes there every single day

The place was turned into a gay store
Another fairytale was about to be
Convicted into endless misery
