[Verse 1]
These days, I wear my body like an uninvited guest
I turn it right and right and right instead of turning left
But, boy, your patience is a magic kind of medicine
'Cause every spiral brings me back into your arms again
[Chorus]
So no regrets
'Cause you're my sunset, fiery red
Forever fearless
And in your arms, a warm horizon
Don't look back
Let's ride away, let's ride away
[Post-Chorus]
(Hey)
[Verse 2]
So many stories we were told about a safety net (Hey)
But when I look for it, it's just a hand that's holding mine
I'm wearing black to mourn thе sudden loss of innocence
And that's alright bеcause it hides the dirt and hides the wine
[Chorus]
So no regrets
'Cause you're my sunset, fiery red
Forever fearless
And in your arms, a warm horizon
Don't look back
Let's ride away, let's ride away
[Bridge]
(Hey)
(Hey)
[Chorus]
No regrets
'Cause you're my sunset, fiery red
Forever fearless
And in your arms, a warm horizon
Don't look back
Let's ride away, let's ride away

Sunset is the most “traditional” song on the album, in how it follows the classic pop song structure, and also is tinged with Spanish, Italian, and Romani folk melody. The lyrics are about disillusionment — past all the distraction, dead ends and false promises of the world is the love we too often...
Composer Ennio Moricone had passed away a few months before Sega Bodega and I staretd working on this one, and the operatic “Ooh” [bridge] was inspired by the epic tone of his music.

This was a song I began writing with Sega Bodega in 2020. It sounded completely nothing like the others. It had a folk feel, it was gypsy Spanish, Italian, Greek feel to it. It completely made me look at the album differently—and start to see a visual world for them that was a bit more folk, but liv...
