[Verse 1]
Ring around the Rosies
Pocket full of posies
Ashes, ashes, we all fall down
Ring around the Rosies
Pocket full of posies
Ashes, ashes, we all fall down
[Chorus]
Nursery rhymes are said
Verses in my head
Into my childhood, they're spoon-fed
Hidden violence revealed
Darkness that seems real
Look at the pages that cause all this evil
[Verse 2]
One, two, buckle my shoe
Three, four, shut the door
Five, six, pick up sticks
Seven, eight, lay them straight
London Bridge's falling down
Falling down
Falling down
London Bridge is falling down my fair lady
[Chorus]
Nursery rhymes are said
Verses in my head
Into my childhood, they're spoon-fed
Hidden violence revealed
Darkness that seems real
Look at the pages that cause all this evil

Shoots and Ladders was written by David Silveria & Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu & Brian “Head” Welch & MUNKY & Jonathan Davis.
Shoots and Ladders was produced by Ross Robinson.
Korn released Shoots and Ladders on Tue Oct 11 1994.
Jonathan Davis shared:
It was written because all these little kids sing these nursery rhymes and they don’t know what they originally meant. Everyone is so happy when singing ‘Ring Around the Rosie’ but it is about the Black Plague. All of them have these evil stories behind them.
