All we do is live and try we live to die
And every time I sleep at night I feel a little cold inside
Every night and every day
I feel the same
But I’m the one to blame

No scream my name
With no shame
I wanted fame
I wanted dames
This world was mine for the claim
Fell in love I fell in love with what you bring
But did I love the chase?

Pushing away
Running in place

Feeling the weight
Made a mistake
Could never find your way
Unless I feel the path I take
Live with the pain
I’m left with the shame
A fortune fiend
Not a friend
Thought that was the frame
This story I paint

Freedom they teach in schools

But you can’t seek truth if your pockets aren’t full
So you follow their rules, forgetting the cause of route

Chase praise in vain

The love comes your way when you display your greatest strength
