i’m not alone, broken or tired simply existing
just fine and for the most part incorporated
new shoes maybe boots a tree dreaming
on a street where a poem was written years ago
when i’m awake it’s because 46% of the developed world
have sleeping problems when i’m asleep i’m thinking of you
today was the day when we played in the pretend
house, you shot your music video
my conclusion: i’m happy to be ok right now
when the kitchen’s clean i find it easier to imagine collective living
love came and showed us its lightness, unbearable
feeling
we’ll bask in our perfect normality
we’ll never deviate, but do simply what’s expected
we’ll walk down streets and such knowing each other
