Revival

This incident was an invitation to a new beginning
I must admit defeat and submit to the truth that is here
The darkness has stricken me with fear

I’ve been slipping
This time I finally fell
I’m defying the rails on the stairway to hell
There are problems and then there’s rock bottom
I think I’ve finally made my entrance
I need to snap out of this trance
And pray for a chance
Suffering will gain me sight
