“Poison” is the second track on Vaults‘ debut Vultures EP.
Upon being shared online, Clash Magazine noted comparisons to Kate Bush, with the track’s “swooping choruses and impeccable production”.

[Verse 1]
Cold as the wind that blows
Hot as the western sun
We both know you're swinging blind
Punch drunk on the floor
[Chorus]
Won't you let me poison your heart?
Poison
Won't you let me poison your heart?
Poison
[Verse 2]
Take it strength by strength
I want you to show me weak
"Hold your pretty head high"
You'll hear me whispering
[Chorus]
Won't you let me poison your heart?
Poison
Won't you let me poison your heart?
Poison
[Bridge]
Won't you let me poison your heart? (Let me fall in...)
Poison (...under your skin)
Won't you let me in? (Let me fall in under your skin...)
Poison (Let me fall in under your skin...)
Won't you let me in? (Let me fall in under your skin...)
Poison (Let me fall in under your skin...)
Won't you let me poison your heart?
Poison
