A place written from frustration with inspiration taken from Danny Seth’s – “Perception” this piece is about a metaphorical city that is falling apart.
Many ideas are depicted in these stanza’s, mainly focusing on how you have to be willing to let others help you along your journey with concepts of...
Show, don’t tell
Actions speak louder than those words
Let it sell itself
A black stone in the stream of the faded city
Eyes turn to the ignored, ignorant to moon that was forgotten
Cotton wrapped tight around the buildings feet so to not fall
Time came after the highest point, it wasn’t ready to fall
Damned to bleed now, in ruins it can not frown
Though thanking the water, for so what not to be
As to gain somewhere something has to be lost
Mountains may move but in unison the world shakes
Low perched clouds cover the darkness
that fissures and ruptures underneath
City stars radiate through, left in need of a deeper breath
A perception that you will never be
Never change how you view me
So I won’t say anything
Not knowing their story its not knowing someone at all
We see through senses, close the mind
but the door has to be left open
Leave something behind in the world when the heart stops
out to dry when needed the most
Damaging it's path
A elk needs to be self dependant but let others carry
So keep the circle small but leave the door open
keep it open because a small fire will burn a bridge
The road will pave itself the same way birds own nothing yet still live
Leave the rope
Lost friends but thats how it goes…
A sketch before the mural doesn’t understand it's importance because
It’s erased before the end but it's foundations make the art
Voidance from a distance can be the worst when
Appearance will overbalance any substance
Neighbours beaten up in my eyes
Just makes another one want to die
The stone is the platform for today
It can destroy or it can pay
Cbain’s words lie dear
If your normal, whats the point in being you. no individuality
Normal is an illusion of what people want
Your heart knows whats the right thing to do so follow it
Three days is all I ask
