Paper & Pen

I’ve been writing in paper and pen
‘Dear diary, I’ve had a good day’
Cross it out cause we know it’s not true
Want to be all for you

Wishing in coins and counting my luck
Flowers bloom all the time
I was wrong, I’ll make it right
Just give me a bit of time

Cause all this paper and pen
I haven’t really been getting sleep
You know what I’m thinking
I should probably get some rest
But with this paper and pen
I’ve been writing the lines
To a story that never ends

Some happy days have been going by
Some others, it's hard to explain
The weeks have been going by
Slowly, its ‘take your time’
But what if I don’t want to?
What if I want to get this over with?
Some days I’ve done it right
Maybe, some were done

Willows go and have some friends
