Outlook

Every day is a new day
Thank the Lord it's a new day
There are so many things I complain about
But I'm always overlooking how
I'm still here on this Earth
Living life to the full
And trying not to be a fool
With the words that I say
And the actions that I do
We're always being judged
For the things that we say and do
Everybody knows I like to be reflective
I can't hide the fact that I'm always expressing
What keeps me going every day
What cures my heart from all the pain
And what keeps me smiling cus I know
That we're due for greater change
That we can break away from all the chains
The constraints that hold us down
And make us feel disengaged
So that we act in all different kinds of ways
Every day isn't always gunna be the same
When life gets tough, we say 'take it day by day'
I'm just trying to take each day as it comes
And remember that it's all gunna be okay
No matter what happens in my life
I'll always try and sustain my drive
To keep my hopes alive
And remember to lift my head up high

Every day, I'm thankful that
I get to see each and every day
I take life for granted almost every day
To be honest, we all do this anyway
There is always another way
No need to hang your head in shame
There will always be better days
Not every day will be in vain
Uh, its my outlook

Talking is what I do best
Sometimes it helps from being distressed
It's the way that I know how to deal with problems
That threaten to keep me so suppressed
Do you ever wonder why
Life puts you to the test
And you can't think of how to respond or progress
Your mindset's obsessed with the fear of regret
That makes it hard to refresh, recharge, and invest
In your welfare and your thoughts process
Life can be a blessing
Life can be cruel
I'm learning every day about myself
And how the world works
That life can be a precious gift
When you keep on living to see the finer things
Some days can be hit and miss
It's not a bad thing to admit this
Sometimes I find it so refreshing
Sometimes I find it so aggressive
There are so many life lessons
That I'm always forgetting
It's so easy to miss out on all the
Messages that people are spreading
I can't help but want to search for the truth
Wanna be real with the people
That I surround myself around
And remember to stay true
