One River

One hundred little streams flowing independently
Winding through the mountains searching for the sea
But the clouds began to merge
The thunder roars, the lightning burns
And sacred raindrops force each little bank to overflow
Lord, make us one river
One body of water
One people united by your love
Latter rain keep falling
Spirit pour down on us
‘til we’re just one river flowing home
Help us be willing to reach across the boundaries
Strengthen our force till we're a flood of your grace
The only way we’ll reach the ones who are thirsty
Is to take the living water and let them drink
