More, more recently, um
I mean, obviously we’re coming out of a period of what many might view as tremendous isolation
We’ve been in lockdown on and off for the past couple of years (yeah)
We’re still, some would say we’re on the way out, some would disagree, out of this covid-19 pandemic (Mmhmm)
Right
How do you think that’s impacted your creative process especially, um, not just working solo but being confined in many ways to having to work solo? (Mmhmm)
Well, I think, uh, and maybe some artists will agree
I think, I was already semi, and this is a strong - strong emphasis on semi
Semi-like isolationist whеre I wouldn’t really, I would keep to myself a lot in tеrms of creation and in terms of, like, working on stuff
I would always be at home, generally
But, obviously this was a different kind of isolation, this was like, nothing
So any method of, of going out
Like, therapy, I had to be over the phone
The walks I wanted to do I couldn’t do
Uh, church for a time was, was over the phone, um
So it was, it was different for sure
But ultimately, uh you find inspiration in everything
And, uh, I’ve gotten to a point where I don’t-
Like, if I feel something, it’s always gonna end up on a page
And it’s always gonna be put into music somehow
So, I, y’know, that’s like-, that was a therapeutic method for me a lot of the time, so, yeah
