Ode to Everyone who died in Harry Potter and the Death Hallows

So many people died in the Deathly Hallows
I think I may have cried through like the last two hundred pages
I followed their lives like they were my friends
And now they’re all gone, and I just can’t comprehend
Oh, why did all of you have to die?

Oh, this is an ode to those who died
I couldn’t remember them all, so I had to look online
And though it was a bloodbath, each death played its part
In the story that came from J. K.’s heart

[spoken:] Now I’m going to list evеrybody who died in Harry Potter and the Dеathly Hallows. I don’t know if I can do it. Here I go

We lost Professor Lupin (Lupin) and we lost Colin Creevey (Creevey)
We lost Professor Snape (Snape); don’t forget about Mad-Eye Moody (Mad-Eye Moody)
We lost Nymphadora (Dora) and we lost Fred Weasley (Weasley)
We lost Harry’s owl and our dear, dear Dobby
And that doesn’t even include all the other random people who died

Oh, that was a list of those who died
Don’t know if that was all, but at least I tried
And though it was a bloodbath, each death played its part

Oh, I even cried at the deaths of the bad guys
Bellatrix, Nagini, but not Crabbe, ’cause he’s really dumb (he’s really dumb)
Oh, Voldemort was evil, but if he hadn’t died
The story would still be going on

She killed off so many that it should be made a crime
